The base made of sand or natural stone is approx. 2.70 m high. The steel tower is 8 m.

The Kohlhaukuppe is 787 m high. (Details vary)
If we add the base and tower height, we come from a height of the viewing platform of 797.7 m.
Assuming an eye level of 1.70 m, we reach a height of 799.4 m.
Summary: If you jump 60 cm up on the tower, the 800 meters are cracked!

There are always discussions that the former tower on the Kohlhaukuppe was a wooden tower. Not correct !
